About

I have been an artist all my life, first attending Syracuse University Art School in classes for toddlers, then, in my Master's program, teaching those little artists.  I have illustrations published in two textbooks, as well as other publications, my first drawings appearing in Human Anatomy and Physiology, Roy Hartenstein, Van Nostrand Reinhold, 1976.  My credentials include: BFA, Illustration, and MS, Art Education, Syracuse University, 1981 and 1984; numerous awards and exhibits in art shows; teaching Two- and Three-dimensional design at high schools in New York and Virginia for over 20 years; oil painting at a Virginia Community College for many years.

I live in Cocoa Beach, FL, taking on commissions for work such as wedding paper suites, and portraits.   I welcome the opportunity to produce the stationary or cards of your dreams, or bring a loved one to life on canvas.  By browsing this site, you can see that I am versatile in media and style.  I have painted landscapes of my beloved Virginia, surreal, inspirational imagery, and patriotic scenes.

Any paintings here are available for sale, in addition to commissioned pieces.  Prices are introductory, and subject to change.

I put my heart and soul into oil portraits (and you can see that)  I also create detailed watercolor/pen&ink cards
